a lot of people seem to think that Christians are arrogant for assuming and pushing the fact that: they are right about God. In my time as a street minister, I have found that they don't have any good reason to dis-believe the credibility of Scripture and the Christian claims that come from it; furthermore, they have no viable alternatives to the Holy God of the Bible. My question for them is: what do you have to offer--that's going to be better for me to practice and believe ??? Seriously, what else is out there ??? A big question mark in the sky ??? Or nothingness. Nothing, right ??? No wonder so many people are so depressed. and then there's the WORKS--a guy's telling me the other day: "as long as you do such and so....."

this guy claimed to be a "former" Roman. well, I submit to you that he still is carrying some of those Roman WORKS chains--even though he has turned to Eastern Mysticism--where there is basically no accountability--you just keep recycling, right ??? no thanks.
and it's like: how much do you have to do ???
As a Christian, I don't have to DO anything. Christ DID IT ALL for me already. Now that's Liberty, and a "religion" that I can live with.
... and from what I've seen, I prefer the way Christians treat people.
