not only is Sarah Palin a gorgeous woman, but she is the perfect one to be the "voice" of the Conservative uprising in our nation. I signed the petition. very cool. I guess I'll have to fork over some dough too. well, what can you do?

so the other day I see an F-250 big pickup truck, with some name and claiming "sustainable landscapes." Not only is the whole idea silly, but as usual, the concept of "green" got lost when they bought the gas-hogging pickup--probably gets about 15mpg. well, maybe they bought the truck before they started the green business. who knows?
I think we will re-name our ad company: Green Ads. there's a catchy name, don't you think? And they are Green, since they're not being printed in any publication.
so I made the mistake of buying a mobile home in a park some years ago. it sounded good at the time, but I realize now that it was a dumb thing to do. I would be better off if I was still renting! Anyway, now the pressure's on to buy a bigger better house; In the meantime I have to fix up the one I"m in just to sell it and be done with it. I just hope the Leftist Regime does not mess with the stock market--so that I can make some money there to improve my family's life.
every once in a while I get an e-mail from a concerned citizen--who wants to raise the alarm about the latest scheme by the Leftist Regime. All I can say is: hey, this is what the useful idiots voted for; so let them have it! There's nothing we can do afterall. They say: write your congressman! Well, I've been doing that for many years now and guess what? It doesn't do any good. They could give a rat's behind what we think--unless of course they feel like their job is on the line in the next election--then they may consider going along with constituents' concerns.
Anyway, for those who are now panicking at what these Neo-Marxists are trying to pull--all I can say is: you should have done more before. Now it's too late. The United States is going to go down the toilet, and we let it happen. I just hope Newt has got some Aces up his sleeves.
then you have the extremist "bag users at all costs" people. I bring my canvas bag--having gone thru two seconds of trouble to get it out of the car--and what does the lady do at (big drug store chain)? She puts my little box into a plastic bag that is sitting on the counter literally touching my canvas bag. I'm thinking to myself: "is she just so into the routine, or is she doing it on purpose??" So then I look her in the eye, and she just sort of smirks real subtle, you know. I appreciate the sentiment, but c'mon now. If someone is going to go thru the trouble of bringing their bag into the store--then you better darn well use it, and keep your disposable bags for the (famous Hybrid car) drivers who conveniently forgot theirs.
with all this talk about "being green," it seems like a bunch of challenged people--running around with butterfly nets--trying to contain the hysteria in their own mind. Drive-thrus are still being built-and bigger I might add. but the worst one is: the obnoxiously long store receipts. Do you know what I'm talking about???? Yesterday (big discount store) gave me a twenty inch receipt, along with a bunch of printed out coupons. Trust me--I didn't buy twenty inches worth of stuff.
If we're going to get green, then we're going to have to address the things that are a waste of people's time as well as "harmful." such as twenty inch store receipts. And no, battery cars are not the answer.
